The Lascom AEC Vault stores objects managed by the application. Each object type defined in the database (products, projects, files, etc.) to which you have access rights appears in the classification tree of the vault.

Display settings you can customize for the vault include:

       Column display: columns to display or hide, the order of columns, columns to use for sorting, etc.,

       Number of objects displayed in a result list per page,

       Number of list values displayed at one time,

       Number of levels of a configuration displayed by default,

       Default display mode for configurations: text or graphic,

       Number of levels displayed for «Where Used» by default,

       Default display mode for «Where Used»: text or graphic.

Access to vault objects is governed by their object types. Object display is done by means of either filters or searches. Some filters, particularly public filters, are predefined by the Lascom AEC administrator. You are expected to create your own filters for rapid access to objects that are important to your work.

When you first launch the application, only the public filters created by the administrator are available. You will not be able to see your data until you have created at least one filter for each object type.
