The «Where Used» function allows you to view all the configurations in which a specific object is being used. The objects are displayed in a reverse tree, from child to parent objects. You can follow the link to any parent object to view its details.
«Where Used» is a search function producing the list of all configurations in which an object is being used. The results are displayed in ascending order.
«Where Used» is powerful as a tool for:
Assessing
the impact of a modification,
Seeing
at a glance where an object is being used.

o Select the document from a
filter list or from a configuration display, |

o Click on “in folder”, The « in folder » screen is displayed, |
|
You can select a parent object to view its details and configuration.
Note The « in folder » tree display is the reverse of a configuration display. Configurations are shown in descending order from parent to child. «Where Used» results are shown in ascending order, from child to parent.
You can apply a filter to «Where Used» search results to limit the list of configurations, if you wish.
