As long as you have the appropriate rights you can remove a link entirely from a configuration.
Note When you remove a link from a configuration, you destroy the history of that link in the configuration. Before you do this, you should be sure that you do not want to simply remove it from the active configuration. To remove the link from the active configuration, while retaining its history in the configuration, you can change its validity dates by modifying the link properties, or create a change order to effect the change.

A confirmation dialog box is displayed and allows you to validate the deletion.
