Attachments to packages can be drawings, specifications, supporting files, or any object that may be addressed by Lascom AEC.

 

Attachments to packages may be any of the following object types:

       Files

       Objects managed by Lascom AEC

       URL links

       All users assigned to the package may:

       Open and view attachments in their native applications or in the Lascom AEC Brava viewer

       Download copies of files

       Check out, edit and check in attachments, keeping a history of revisions

       Insert markup in compatible files and attach them to the package

       Add new attachments if required

 

You cannot check out an attachment for editing until you have started working on the parent package.

 

From the package summary,

 

o   Click on «Attachments»

 

The attachment list is displayed.

 

 

Attachments to packages include any objects managed by Lascom AEC, files and URL links

 

       To expand or collapse the content of an associated folder or file, click on the (+) or (-) button next to the folder or file,

       To display an attached file, click on its name in the list or select the radio button next to it and click on «View.»,

       To follow a link to an attachment in the vault, simply click on its name in the list.

 

 

  Displays a dialogue box for you to select the file to be opened for viewing.

 

 To view the file

 

 For copying the previously selected file from the list to your workstation

 

 Displays the attachment’s properties

 

 Displays details of the file attachment
