You can customize the layout for the various types of vault objects, configurations, and packages. Each customized layout is specific to one item type.

 

Customized layouts may be created and saved under specified names.

o   From the dropdown list, select the type of item whose display you wish to customize («Documents», «Configurations», «Owned packages», etc.).

o   Click on the family “Documents” for example o   Click on

o   Click on the “Drawings” for example

 

The layout window for this item type is displayed along with a preview of the layout.

 

The list of columns is displayed, as well as the associated options.

 

To edit a system default layout and make it public, you must have administrative rights. However, you may customize a system default layout and save it as a personal user layout.

 

       Procedure

       Select columns to show or hide.

       Select sort columns and default sort order.

       Define the order in which columns will display.

       Define fixed columns.

       Set the width of other columns.

       Define text-wrapping.
