All searches are done through criteria such as « field, operator and value ». Available operators are accessible with the « & » button.
In the previous example (« Guide») you have automatically used the “contains” operator. When clicking on “Submit” you got all the “parts” for which the field “title” contained “Guide”.
You can define a default operator. This default operator will apply to all searches where no operator was specified. This default operator will be reused for your future connections (unless modified).
You can access the options by clicking on the «Settings» icon on the Lascom AEC toolbar.
The toolbar is located in the top right corner of Lascom AEC screen.

For example = if you enter « Guide » you will find all « parts » in which title field contains «Guide»
Why
does your search not bring any results?
Several possible reasons:
There
are no data that correspond to your query
There
are data but the associated objects belong to other project than that you are
currently connected to (remember you are filtered with the « current
project »)
You criteria are too restrictive or
combination of these criteria is wrong.
In all cases you will get following message
You can « refine search » if you want to modify your search criteria. |
|
If the search is successful, the results are displayed as a list of objects. |
