There are two distinct ways of editing attachments to a package:

       File types that are compatible with the Lascom AEC Viewer may be edited by creating markups. Markups will be saved to the package along with their parent files.

       Files may be checked out, edited, and then checked back in. All versions of an edited file are kept in the package as part of the package revision history. When an attachment is checked out, it is locked for changes by other participants. All participants may still inspect the attachment, but no editing is possible until the attachment is checked in again.
