All recipients of a distribution receive an e-mail informing them of this distribution.
The message contains the distribution header, its instructions and the list of documents.
There are three different types of notifications:
If
the recipient is an Lascom AEC user, the body of the message also contains a
hypertext link for the recipient to connect to Lascom AEC to access the
distribution properties.
If
the recipient is an external recipient, the message also contains a ZIP file containing
the files related to the distributed documents corresponding to the extensions
selected by the sender.
If
the distributed documents do not have any related files or the sender has not
selected any extensions, the message title is different.
This way the recipient knows that it is only a distribution for information.

Once all Lascom AEC recipients have acknowledged the distribution, the sender receives an e-mail informing him that his distribution has been acknowledged. The message contains the distribution header and instructions. It also provides a hypertext link to the distribution to allow the sender to look through any comments that may have been made by the recipients. |
