The Vault (classification) allows management of documents placed under the control of Lascom AEC. Documents are displayed by categories: Drawings, Technical documents, manufacturing processes, changes traceability, reports, project management... You can carry out advanced searches for documents and use your custom spaces to work on documents and configurations.

Lascom AEC 2012 documents types and sub-types are displayed as folders and sub-folders in the « Classification » tree.

 

       Electronic Document Management (EDM)

 

Electronic document and records management aims to enable organizations to manage documents and records throughout the document life-cycle, from creation to destruction.

 

       Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

 

Process of managing the entire lifecycle of a product from inception, through engineering design and manufacture, to service and disposal of manufactured products. PLM integrates people, data, processes and business systems and provides a product information backbone for companies and their extended enterprise.

Lascom AEC items are displayed as folders and sub-folders in the «Classification» tree structure. Folders contain document types and sub-folders document sub-types.. The Lascom AEC 2012 tree structure is composed of document types, document sub-types, and documents.   Documents are accessed through filters corresponding to their types. Thus, filters must have been created for viewing documents.

The levels have different colors (blue/green) whether there are closed or open.   The current open level/filter is displayed in red.
