To create a copy of a document

You can create a new database document by making a copy of an existing database object if you wish. When you make a copy of an existing document, you may choose to copy also the configurations and the related files from the original document to the new one.

 

In the Classification”,

o   Select a family,

o   Perform your search or select an existing filter,

 

The result of the filter is displayed …

 

o   Select the document you want to copy,

o   Click on “Edit” /“Create from”

 

 

A form appears with the properties of the original document, which you can modify to create a new document. If the document has configurations or attachments, they are also listed.

 

o   Complete the form associated with the document.

o   Please note that you must change the object identifier.

o   Click on «Save» to save the new document.

 

If you check the «Save and Create New» box, the form remains in view after the document is saved to let you create another object.
