In many companies, collaborative work is based on the notion of “Projects”.
Project management essentially involves:
An
organization of data within the frame of projects,
A
definition of the actors and their roles within the projects.
The creation of projects is the domain of the administrator whereas the configuration of projects is the responsibility of project managers.
A project may comprise sub-projects, in which case the definition shall be made at sub-project level.
With Lascom AEC, the user has the possibility of working within the frame of a given project. He is authorized to visualize only those projects in which he has a role to play and for which he has access authorization.
When he connects to a project, he will stay connected from one session to the next. His rights are those that have been specifically assigned to him for this project. The objects that he creates are automatically created within the connection project. Searches return results only for the objects belonging to this project.
If
you are authorized to work on several projects, when you first connect to the
application, a page is displayed asking you to define your current project
amongst these.
If
you are authorized to work on one project only, this project is automatically
defined as your current project at the connection
Note Some users also have the ability to work in « All projects » mode
Documents created will only be visible in All Project mode (will not be visible anymore if the user connects to a Project).
All Projects documents are visible.
Default administration rules become applicable
